Fishing You a Happy Birthday...

Good Morning!
It is my Uncles 70th birthday, my mom wanted to give him a fishing card because he is obsessed with fishing. This is what I can up with... I entered it into the following challenge:
Dutch Dare Card Challenge # 217
This is a recipe challenge... here is the recipe: 1 image, 1 sentiment, 2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments
Here are my 3 embellishments:
1. String glued to the image over the fishing line
2. Glossy accents over the water areas
3. Black enamel dots in the lower left corner

Enjoy!

Good Luck Alligator

Good morning,
Last night I made a card for one of our counselors at work. It is his last day today, he will be missed immensely by the staff and students. I tried to make his card masculine so I used a blue/green/brown color combination. I stamped my image and sentiment using momento tuxedo black ink and colored them with copic markers. I also used the elegant edges cartridge for my stamped image. I entered this card into the following challenge:
Charisma Cardz Challenge # 19

Enjoy!

Bridal Shower Card

One of my good friends is getting married and I attended her shower over the weekend. I decided to make her a card matching her black and white invitations. I didn't want to create a standard card so I found a creative alternative from Teachdanz. I used the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge along with paper from a Hobby Lobby white and black stack. I cut out the words on my Silhouette since the cuts can be more intricate. The inside is embossed with a hearts folder from Hobby Lobby and I used the computer to print my sentiment on Vellum before attaching it with brads. I wanted black brads and I didn't have any so I just colored the brads with a black sharpie. Even though my friends theme is black and white I thought a pop of color would really add a nice touch. I used a glitter tape roll from Michaels to add a strip of color to the card. Hope you like it! I will be entering this card in the following challenges, check them out and play along:
